Rob was only five years into his recruitment career when a colleague’s daughter was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis, an experience that inspired him to dedicate his career to the biotech industry, connecting scientific talent with the companies driving medical breakthroughs. Years later, his former business partner’s daughter benefited from a groundbreaking therapy for cystic fibrosis, a moment that reinforced the profound importance of this mission.
More recently, Rob’s own son was diagnosed with a rare CNS disease — a deeply personal experience that renewed his commitment to biotech recruitment and served as the catalyst for founding Genepool Networks. Today, Genepool reflects his belief that purpose, integrity, collaboration, and service can unleash the potential in every team member to make a difference for patients.
Before founding Genepool Networks, Rob co-founded Stratacuity, a scientific recruiting agency specializing in placing bio-pharmaceutical talent into contract and permanent positions. As the COO of Stratacuity, Rob helped develop and execute the strategy, driving growth and its acquisition by one of the world's largest talent management firms.
Rob holds a BS in Business Management, focused on Entrepreneurship, and received the 2016 Cystic Fibrosis Breath of Life award for his contributions to the CF Foundation. Rob enjoys outdoor activities with his family, exploring Downeast Maine and the NH Seacoast where he resides.

Erik is a trained scientist who spent a decade in life science recruiting following a decade as a discovery pharmacologist. He is passionate about building teams and making an impact on human health.
Erik started in biotech as a pharmacologist at NIBR where he developed cardiometabolic therapeutics across a wide range of targets. He then led a discovery services team at Charles River Labs as a Study Director where he designed and executed discovery research programs for early-stage biotech companies.
His shift to recruiting started at Stratacuity where he initially partnered with clients on contract and permanent searches and ultimately led business development efforts across the firm. Erik gained exposure to executive search as a Director at Perspective Group before moving to The Bowdoin Group where he led the biotech practice. At Bowdoin Erik partnered with life science clients to recruit senior leaders and completed broader RPO projects for high-growth clients.
Erik has a B.S. and M.S. in Exercise Physiology and lives in the New England Seacoast area with his wife and three kids. You can find him golfing, snowboarding, and surfing when not busy with career and family.

Before joining Genepool Networks, Stephanie was a Senior Executive Search Consultant at Slone Partners, a leading retained search firm in the Life Sciences and Healthcare industries. There, she refined her expertise in identifying and placing top-tier executive talent.
Previously, as a Senior Recruiter at Stratacuity, Stephanie focused on clinical and regulatory leadership roles within the Boston life sciences community. Her contributions helped place key executives in influential positions and ignited her passion for the life sciences industry.
Her recruiting career began at Adecco, where she managed placements across sales, marketing, HR, and customer service. Stephanie holds a bachelor's degree in education from the University of Maine, reflecting her strong communication skills and commitment to helping others grow.

Her interest in scientific advancement, sparked by a high school classmate’s battle with a rare genetic disorder, led her to pursue a biological sciences degree before discovering her passion for connecting top researchers with the right opportunities.
Before joining Genepool Networks, Ariana was a senior scientific recruiter and recruiting manager at Commonwealth Sciences, where she honed her expertise in identifying and placing top talent in the life sciences sector. Her deep understanding of the drug discovery and development process fuels her commitment to helping clients build teams that drive breakthrough innovations.
Ariana holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences from the University of Connecticut and is an avid fan of UConn men’s basketball. Outside of work, she enjoys crossword puzzles and walking her golden retriever along the coast.

Before joining Genepool Networks, Aaron held senior roles in both in-house talent acquisition and the placement of executives and consultants, leading initiatives that included recruiting and onboarding system design, performance frameworks, and talent intelligence programs.
As Senior Director of On-Demand Talent at Genepool Networks, he leads the flexible talent solutions engaging with exceptional consultants, fractional leaders, and contractors. By combining strategic insight with practical execution, Aaron ensures that every hire strengthens the client’s mission and accelerates progress toward ambitious scientific goals.
