Erik Rocheford - Managing Partner

Erik Rocheford brings a unique perspective to biotech recruiting, drawing from a decade of experience within the industry he now serves. As a trained discovery pharmacologist before transitioning into recruitment, Erik understands the biotech landscape from the bench to the boardroom and is passionate about building leadership teams that advance life science careers.

Erik began his journey in biotech as a pharmacologist at NIBR, where he developed cardiometabolic therapeutics across various targets. He then took on the role of Study Director at Charles River Labs, leading a discovery services team that designed and executed research programs for early-stage biotech companies.

His recruitment career started at Stratacuity, where he partnered with clients on both contract and permanent searches, eventually spearheading business development efforts across the firm. Erik gained valuable insight into executive search as a Director at Perspective Group before joining The Bowdoin Group, where he led the biotech practice. At Bowdoin, Erik collaborated with life science clients to recruit senior leaders and managed broader RPO projects for high-growth organizations.

Erik holds a B.S. and M.S. in Exercise Physiology and resides in the New England Seacoast area with his wife and three children. When he’s not focused on biotech recruiting or family commitments, you can find him enjoying activities like golfing, snowboarding, and surfing.
