Jeff D'Italia - Vice President

Jeff’s commitment to life sciences is fueled by the belief that the right person in the right role can change the course of human health. With over 25 years in the Boston bio/pharma ecosystem, Jeff understands that scientific breakthroughs depend as much on human chemistry as they do on molecular chemistry. This mission-driven perspective makes him a dedicated supporter of the rare disease community and a fixture in local industry networking groups.

A scientist by training, Jeff began his career as a biochemist, providing him the technical depth to truly speak the language of his clients. His experience spans the full drug development lifecycle—from early R&D through commercial—with extensive expertise in technical operations and CMC. Before joining Genepool Networks as Vice President, Jeff spent 18 years as a leader at Stratacuity, where he was instrumental in building their contract placement and technical operations/CMC teams. Today, he leverages this "scientist-first" approach to lead specialized workforce solutions across R&D, CMC, clinical research, and commercial functions for both emerging startups and global biopharma leaders.

Jeff holds a B.S. in Biology from the University of Southern Maine and lives on the coast with his wife and three boys. A lifelong competitive sailor and avid skier, he can usually be found exploring the New England shoreline when he isn’t connecting top-tier talent with life-saving missions.
